The goal of the RPD traffic unit is to reduce the number and severity of traffic collisions and reckless driving activity in the City of Richland through our three (3) pillars of traffic safety:

  1. Engineering
  2. Education
  3. Enforcement

The Traffic Unit serves the City of Richland community in all phases of traffic enforcement, collision investigation, public education, and collision prevention efforts. Traffic Complaints

Report a Traffic Complaint

We recognize that one of the top concerns from community members is traffic on neighborhood streets. This program allows community members to alert us to potential traffic problems occurring within the City of Richland. Such complaints could include drivers who repeatedly disobey a stop sign at an intersection, failure to slow down in posted school zones, or routine speeding in a particular area.
