Activities

  • Serve as an advisory body to the City Council in order to promote orderly physical development and social development of the City and prepares a comprehensive plan.
  • Recommend amendments, extensions, or additions to City development regulations or plans in the interest of health, safety, morals, and general welfare.
  • Review federal requirements for the administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME programs and make recommendations on program procedures and project funding.
