Commercial (Businesses/Organizations) can choose Garbage, Recycling and/or Landfill Services

The City of Richland offers commercial rear loader and front loader services to Richland businesses. Visit our Commercial Service Fees page for a detailed list of options and call (509) 942-7490 to coordinate your service.

Drop Box Collection

The City offers large container dumpster service by request. These large containers are available in 20 or 30 yard sizes. See Drop Box Service Fees for current rates. To initiate a Drop Box request, please first review and submit Richland's Drop Box Rental Agreement form.

Upon submitting a Rental Agreement, you may use the Drop Box Coordination Form to electronically coordinate delivery, waste collection and return of the Drop Box.

Special Wastes

The Landfill accepts all asbestos and petroleum contaminated soils. The City of Richland requires the asbestos waste shipment record form to be filled out and submitted 24 hours prior to your arrival at the landfill. You can find the form here. Please fill out only numbers 1-11 and submit signed documents to solidwaste@ci.richland.wa.us.  If you are disposing of petroleum contaminated soils (PCS) you will need to fill out and submit this form. These forms will also need to be emailed to solidwaste@ci.richland.wa.us.

Commercial Landfill Account 

For commercial entities who haul their refuse to the Horn Rapids Landfill, the department offers the option to create a landfill credit account. To apply for a landfill account, simply complete this online Credit Application.
